- Elisha Cuthbert will play the female lead in a comedy pilot "Happy Endings." According to reports, the Girl Next Door star is going star in ABC’s new project. The comedy tells the story of a bride (Elisha) and a groom, who after splitting up in the aisle, have to decide how to go on with them and their four friends. Other members of the cast include Eliza Coupe ("Scrubs"), Casey Wilson ("Saturday Night Live") and Damon Wayans Jr. ("My Wife and Kids").


- Elisha Cuthbert will return to the small screen with Happy Endings. The Canadian cutie will appear in ABC’s comedy on Wednesday, April 13 at 10 p.m. Elisha portrays a girl who splits with her fiancee (Zach Knighton of FlashForward) on their wedding day. The channel also announced the release of comedies Mr. Sunshine, starring Matthew Perry and Allison Janney, will debut Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 9:30 p.m.
